We’ve been at this for a while. And in all of the home runs, foul balls (also, walls) we’ve hit, we’ve learned what works best: putting users first. That said, we built our entire process around that idea and it’s been a good move. At least, the clients who have kept us going for the last few years think so anyway.

We’re also open about how we do things and what you’re getting. If you have questions, ask away—we aren’t a black box. We even wrote our agreement in Plain English, so you don’t have to bother with any legalese. Now that you’ve seen what we do, here’s how we do it.

A few highlights

A typical web project takes about 6-8 weeks to complete. Your mileage may vary, depending on the complexity. A typical iOS app takes about 6-12 weeks to complete.

Before we do any design work, we'll do what any other professional should do: understand what's wrong and how we can fix it. We'll usually start with a short (but thorough) call to talk about:

Goals this project needs to meet.

What isn't working for you right now.

Anything else we need to understand about your project.

Let’s get a plan together.

This step's pretty important to making sure our project doesn't go sideways later. What happens going forward will be a logical extension of our plan. So if you need to change your mind, here's the place to do it.

We'll make things like wireframes and site maps to ensure that we're going to give your visitors and users the best experience possible. Not sure what those are? Site maps (and app maps) are like outlines for your project. Wireframes are like the skeleton for your site—everything's laid out, but there isn't any design there yet.

We’ll make something beautiful.

Here we'll design your project. We'll use a healthy combination of science, black magic and pixel wizardry to make a design we'll both love.

Before we get too far into the design, we'll share a rough direction with you to make sure we're on the same page. Once we get an all clear, we'll finish the design and build.

Like we said above, we know all about the latest things to make your project awesome. We'll put that in there, too.

Your beautiful, new project is ready for the world to love. Here, you'll do the following:

Rake in the cash.

Be glad you hired us.

Repeat steps 1-3 at least 3 times.

The fun doesn't have to end there though. We don't hand this off and let you fend for yourself—if you need updates or changes, we're there.
